Sandra is an Ecuadorean American artist currently living in New Jersey, whose work is rooted in the transborder experiences of exile, dislocation, relocation, memory, and self-conscious identity-construction/reconstruction. Her work has been widely exhibited and collected in numerous cities in the US and abroad. Her prints are represented in public collections such as the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Library of Congress, The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach California, The San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA) in TX, and The Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Forth Worth Texas, to name a few.
