Coronado print studio is a space where artists can eliminate barriers and engage in open dialogues around important issues of our time. Rooted in the philosophy that printmaking, by nature, is a collaborative medium, the studio believes that voices and stories are most powerful when seen and heard collectively. Based on this principle, Pepe founded the studio. The studio believes that the interconnectivity of diverse artistic disciplines is a necessary catalyst to ripple art into the American social imagination, imprinting louder voices of diverse narratives, and broadening the definition of contemporary American art. Our mission stems from the importance of providing a space for productive discussions on art and its role in contemporary American culture with an emphasis on a diverse American experience/identity. The studio functions as an open and inclusive space for these discussions and innovative collaborations to manifest.
